Welcome to my page, I am Emma, a level-5 qualified psychotherapist.
Sometimes life can take unexpected turns, and we find ourselves feeling stuck or overwhelmed in situations that we dont feel prepared for, questioning how we move forward. When I received counselling I remember how invaluable it was to have someone external to my world listen without judgement, so together we could process and explore. This is what I can offer you, a warm, non-judgmental space where I can support you.

About me and my practice
Currently only working online. I work integratively, this means I use a blend of different counselling theories. I work psychodynamically so we can unpick how your current behaviours and feelings have been shaped by your past experiences and relationships. I also use a person-centred approach, meaning that I will offer you acceptance, honesty and empathic understanding; and through our counselling relationship you will gain self-awareness and confidence in yourself to know how to move forwards in whatever situation you find yourself in.
Experience
I have experience working within an agency and within private practice. I have helped clients with addiction, low self-esteem, relationship issues among many other issues.
Qualifications
I am a Level-5 qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, upholding their ethical principles and practice.
I also hold a certificate in Couples Counselling from the International Society of Psychotherapy and Counselling.

A free 20 minute phone call to talk in more detail about what brings you to counselling, we can see how we feel about working together and you can ask any questions you may have.
Fees
Individuals: £50 (50 minute session)
Couples: £70 (50 minute session)

I have a mixture of daytime and evening availability.
